We're always looking for new volunteers and helpers to join our team here at Haddo.
Sadly, our current volunteers have not been able to share their knowledge with visitors to Haddo House, due to Haddo House being closed, because of the Covid pandemic. However, some of the volunteers are giving Haddo History and Architecture Walking Tours around the outside of Haddo House. It's been so good to be able to offer something to our visitors.
If you prefer to be outdoors then we've got opportunities for gardeners and wildlife surveyors. We are currently planning and creating a sensory garden and would appreciate any help offered. If you'd like to help but can't manage a regular commitment then why not help out at one of our events, once things get started again?
House Guides, Gardeners, Events Assistants, Wildlife Surveyors.

In return for your help, regular volunteers will get travel expenses, a uniform and training. Volunteers will also receive discounts and priority booking for events in the park.
For young volunteers we can put you forward for Saltire Awards or provide volunteering for Scout badges or DoE awards. If you looking for a career in history, heritage or the outdoors then we happy to provide references and records of hours worked for all our volunteers.
If you're interested in details of the volunteering opportunities we’ve got available at the moment or if you have any other skills you think we could use here at Haddo then just get in touch.
If you’re part of a company, or a group, interested in volunteering, then ask us about a team building day. You’ll get to contribute to a major project here at Haddo, learn new skills and have some fun at the same time! You can pick one of our existing projects or we can develop something to suit your own interests. Contact us for more details.
