For schools, we can provide a safe, fenced outdoor classroom for activities as well as an undercover space for lunch. We can suggest a range of suitable activities for all age groups and can put you in touch with the Aberdeenshire Council Ranger Service or the National Trust for Scotland education team who can deliver planned lessons and days out in the park and the house.
Download our schools education pack for more information and activity ideas to help you plan your visit and our hazard mitigation guidance document which will help you to write the risk assessment for your visit in line with your institution/local authority policy.
For universities and colleges we have a range of research opportunities available for students, including baseline monitoring surveys, environmental and biodiversity assessments and visitor survey work. We can pay transport costs and contribute to the cost of any equipment. We can also provide work experience placements and volunteering for anyone seeking a career in wildlife conservation or visitor and events management.
