Red Squirrels coming to squirrel hide daily, several seen in woods around hide and throughout the park on 12 & 13 April. Best time to see them is in the morning between dawn and 10 am before the park gets busy.

Pair of Grey Wagtail nest building at cascades bridge on 13 April, Dipper at cascades bridge on 11 & 13 April

Mallard, Teal, Goldeneye, Tufted Duck, Little Grebe, Moorhen, Greylag Goose, Canada Goose, Mute Swan, Wigeon all on lake daily
Flowers
Daffodils, Primrose, Oxlip (hybrid), Celandine flowering throughout the park
Carpets of Cuckoo Flower and Wood Anemone in flower by pet graves/lime avenue (since 30 March), Snakes Head Fritillary on banking by terrace gardens (since 27 March, still in flower on 12 April)
Butterbur in flower by Scots Mile Bridge (13 April), Kingcups flowering around lake edge (11 April)
Everything Else
Herald Moth hibernating in house/park, found on 15 Feb, first ever record of this species at Haddo
Frogspawn in wildlife garden pond (26 March). Adult Common Frog in wildlife garden pond (18 March) and outdoor classroom wet area (5 March)
Several pairs of Common Toad by wildflower meadow on 27 March
Poplar Hawk Moth (6 June) by the lake.
