How to enter:
We want you to design an A4 poster to persuade your local community to 'think global, act local'.
The competition is open to anyone living in Aberdeenshire aged between 9 and 13 on the closing date.
You can use whatever media (pencils, paint, digital, etc.) you like, as long as your work is your own.
The competition will be judged by Haddo staff and the Marvellous Adventure Club Ltd. We will be looking for original, eye-catching and persuasive pieces of work.
The competition prize will be a fantastic woodland adventure session for the winner and up to three friends, provided by the Marvellous Adventure Club Ltd. It will take place in the grounds of Delgatie Castle, near Turriff, and the date and time of the session will be arranged between the winner’s parents/guardians and the Marvellous Adventure Club Ltd.
A selection of entries will be displayed in the Pheasantry at Haddo.
We will not be able to return entries, although it will be possible to collect them from Haddo after the competition.
The closing date is Monday 16th October at 5.00pm – entries received after this date cannot be accepted.
Please ensure that your full name is on the back of your poster, and return it (by post or in person) together with the entry form to: Victoria Ellis, Haddo House and Country Park Visitor Centre, Methlick, Ellon, Aberdeenshire, AB41 7EQ.
